SOUTH SULAWESI, Indonesia – AC Energy’s first greenfield offshore project is on track for completion as reported by the project company PT UPC Sidrap Bayu Energi (UPC Sidrap).
As of July 31, 2017, the construction of the 75MW Sidrap Wind Farm is 60% complete based on UPC Sidrap’s monitoring report, which is within the contract schedule. Over 500 people are currently working on site to ensure on-time delivery of the project.
On August 24, the first batch of Gamesa G114 2.5 MW nacelles and hubs from Spain arrived in Parepare, marking the start of the erection phase.
The Sidrap Wind Farm, Indonesia’s first utility-scale wind farm project, is expected to be operational in 2018.
