27 February 2025 – AEON Center, a prominent corporate building in Filinvest City, Alabang, Muntinlupa City, has officially switched to 100% renewable energy. This achievement comes through a partnership with ACEN RES, the retail electricity unit of the Ayala group, making AEON Center the third building of Innoland Development Corporation in Metro Manila to fully embrace renewable energy, joining the Polaris and Capella buildings.

AEON Center, the first development by Innoland in Metro Manila, stands tall with 19 floors, 12 of which are leasable office spaces. It boasts a typical floor plate of nearly 3,000 square meters, alongside podium and basement parking levels and retail spaces on the ground floor. Located in a prime area of Alabang Filinvest, AEON Center enjoys visibility from both the Skyway and Alabang Zapote Road, with many supporting facilities in the vicinity, further enhancing its appeal.

Sheila Mina, vice president for commercial operations and head of account management at ACEN RES, said: “We are thrilled to partner with Innoland Development Corporation in their commitment to sustainability. Switching to renewable energy is a major step toward a cleaner, more sustainable future, and we commend Innoland for their leadership in this effort.”

Neil Anthony Ong, vice president for Manila operations at Innoland, shared: “This initiative aligns with our vision to create sustainable and environmentally responsible working spaces. We are proud to offer our tenants a healthy, sustainable work environment and hope this encourages other businesses to make the switch to renewable energy.”

To commemorate this milestone, a ceremonial unveiling of the gold “Powered by Renewable Energy” badge was held at AEON Center. The “Powered by Renewable Energy” badge, a proprietary seal awarded to organizations that have switched to 100% renewable energy through ACEN RES, is the first of its kind in the Philippines. It symbolizes recognition for companies taking proactive steps toward environmental sustainability.
