13 September 2023 – For the third consecutive year, ACEN, the listed energy platform of the Ayala group, has been named the Most Outstanding Company in the Philippines in the energy sector by the Asiamoney 2023 Asia’s Outstanding Companies, a prestigious accolade underscoring the company’s stellar performance and growing dominance in the region’s energy sector.
Asiamoney, a leading financial publication covering Asian banking and financial markets, surveyed over 1,200 fund managers, analysts, bankers, and ratings agencies, who acknowledged publicly listed companies across 12 Asian markets that have excelled in areas such as financial performance, management team excellence, investor relations activities, and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
ACEN has indeed made impressive strides, particularly in its capacity for renewable energy. The company now has an attributable capacity of around 4,500 MW across the region. Remarkably, renewable sources such as solar, wind, and geothermal energy account for an impressive 98% of ACEN’s capacity, further cementing the company’s position as a leader in renewable energy.
