As ACEN accelerates its renewable energy investments, it remains fully committed to play a meaningful role in the green-led recovery.
Remaining to be its core market, ACEN has built a solid platform in the Philippines from which to continue its growth as a company, while contributing to the nation’s progress.
The year 2021 saw the infusion of international assets into ACEN and our transformation from a Philippine focused energy provider into a regional renewable energy power player in the Asia Pacific, with international assets now comprising 60 percent of our portfolio.
Our rapid expansion entails adoption of emerging technologies to improve the efficiency, reliability and economics of renewable energy. While solar and wind will remain our core energy technologies, we plan to complement these by investments in new technologies such as battery energy storage, floating solar and offshore wind.
Laser-focused on our 2030 goal of reaching 20 GW of renewables, we continue to look for opportunities to partner with key industry players and global developers to unlock new milestones and scale up our presence in other markets overseas.

Customers with a monthly power demand of at least 100 kW for the past 12 months who want to jumpstart their sustainability journey can now switch to their preferred renewable energy supplier through the Green Energy Option Program (GEOP).
Customers with a monthly power demand of at least 500 kW for the past 12 months can now switch to their preferred retail electricity supplier through the Retail Competition and Open Access (RCOA).
