The Local Government of Lal-lo, in partnership with the Department of Education, along with Cagayan North Solar representatives, held a groundbreaking ceremony for Bical National High School last July 29, 2024.

The school is expected to open by the 2024-2025 school year and aims to serve students from the area and nearby barangays, addressing the educational struggles of secondary students.

Through Ayala Foundation,
Cagayan North Solar provided aid to affected communities that were hard-hit by Typhoon Paeng, with around 1,500 food packs distributed to families in Tuguegarao, Buguey, and Lal-lo, in coordination with the Cagayan Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO).

ACEN and CleanTech to develop, own and operate a 133 MW solar farm and transmission line project located in Lal-lo, Cagayan.

The solar farm will be constructed on a 115-hectare flat land known for its high solar irradiance in Barangays Magapit and Sta. Maria, which will connect to the 69kV NGCP Lal-lo (Magapit) substation via a 3-km transmission line.
