The project, which is currently in its early development phase, is ACEN’s first hybrid wind-solar and round-the-clock asset that will deliver clean and dispatchable higher CUF power to commercial and industrial (C&I) customers in Maharashtra, India. Hybridization optimizes multiple renewable technologies mix to meet customers’ load requirements. The project is a result of ACEN’s partnership with US-based power company BrightNight. The collaboration aims to develop over 1.2 GW hybrid renewable energy portfolio to help India progress towards its energy transition goal.
